ART GRANT SPECIFICS (page 46 and 47 in guide) DUE WEEK 10

*Potentially very fun as you can choose a topic that suits your interests!

**Parents are welcome and encouraged to sit in on these presentations and vote-I will send out times before week 10. 

~cultural/art topic-this is very broad; many, many things fall under this category

~Be Persuasive – convince us to give you the money

~art work, budgeting projections should be displayed, and copies of grant forms to distribute to everyone in class (7 students, 1 tutor)

~5 minutes and 2 minutes for questions

Some suggestions presented in class

Art/Culture Topics:

Dance, photography, film, art-different mediums (drawing, sculpture), music, acting/drama, visual arts, marching/concert band

Grant Ideas:

Classes, festivals, actual pieces of art (mural, statue), lessons, therapy with art or music, trip to learn about one of these, a camp or summer camp

Visual Presentation:

–power point presentations (I can bring in my laptop for your use), drawing/small model of what it will look like, poster or science project board, handouts with ideas or drawing, clay models or diorama
