We are meeting Tuesday, October 2, only Challenges.  We will have Latin 1^st!!!

Please mark your calendars for Wednesday, November 7.  This will be our Museum Field Trip with the Baton Rouge Challenge II.  It has been listed on the calendar on the portal (my first blog entry).

Art grant presentation – I will introduce this project Tuesday and hopefully have a sample to show you. It is due Week 10.  See guide page 46 and 47 for instructions.

I will have a grade sheet for each of you from the Debate we had last Tuesday.

IEW writing helps.  I am attaching in the email an IEW reference guide.  This is really handy for the lists of ly words, adverbs, strong verbs, and quality adjectives, etc.  It works a lot like a synonym finder.  Even if you haven’t used IEW, this is extremely helpful in dressing up your papers.

No Class Next Week Tuesday, September 18

I will email you the Logic test to be taken at home, closed book, and returned to me next meeting, Week 5, September 25.  Work on assignments due Week 5.  Also due when we come back - Art Notebook/Timeline check.

Begin reading Pilgrim's Progress.  Paper will be due Week 6 (3 weeks)!  Utilize pages 42-44, 46 in the guide for help while reading this book.  NOTE you do NOT read the entire book, only the unabridged first part, The Pilgrim's Journey.

Be sure to finish reading the 3 safe debate articles.  This is your only prep for Week 5's debate.
